Operating constraints

Access

Prior permission is required 24 hours in advance for transient aircraft parking with wingspans greater than 75 feet.

Military aircraft: transient aircraft must execute a straight-in full-stop approach. Overhead patterns are not authorized for transient aircraft.

Glider and soaring operations occur 30 to 50 miles south of the airport during VFR weather and mountain wave wind conditions, from 1100 local until sunset.
