Caution on runway 13: only rolling takeoffs are permitted prior to the threshold unless approved by airfield management with ATC coordination. RC/WC-135 static and static rolling takeoffs are approved abeam the northwest hammerhead east taxiway lead-in line, with 11,336 feet of takeoff distance available.
Use the center 150 feet of runway 13/31; the 75-foot edges are not stressed for aircraft over 100,000 lbs.
Obstruction clearance slope is approximately 50:1 from the displaced threshold.
