Approach is in a narrow canyon with turbulence and high obstructions. A school and playground are in the vicinity of the approach end.
Aircraft over 12,500 pounds gross weight are not authorized except with prior permission in writing from the airport manager.
REIL for runway 02 and 20 and MIRL for runway 02/20 are pilot-activated via CTAF.
Parachute jump aircraft access to the runway, taxiway, and parking apron is not authorized.
Alert: see the GENOT for runway 02 departure information and en route CTAF frequencies. Departures require a high-performance climb due to terrain. Departures may dogleg east before turning crosswind to increase altitude; maintain runway heading for at least half a mile before the dogleg to avoid the school and playground.

Fuel service is available Monday through Friday from 0800 to 1700, with no service after hours.
Airport conditions are unmonitored and maintenance is irregular; a visual inspection is recommended prior to use.
