Army National Guard Army Aviation Support Facility operations run 1530-2330Z Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Contact information is available through the California National Guard website.
Transient alert fuel operations run Monday through Thursday from 1430 to 2330Z and Friday from 1430 to 0130Z, closed weekends and federal holidays. Expect closure or reduced service per NOTAM. Service is not offered on a priority basis. Expect service delays if heavy aircraft are using Los Alamitos AAF. No aircraft lavatory service or belt loading is available; contact AirServ at Long Beach Airport (KLGB). Transient service is limited, and no shuttle service is available.
Classified storage for transient aircrew is unavailable at airfield management operations; contact base security forces.
Aircrews using Los Alamitos AAF must advise their departure local flight service station to include KSLIYXYX as an addressee on the original DD 1801 flight plan and on any change, delay, departure, and cancellation messages.
All transient aircrews must report to airfield operations. High-visibility events, VIP Code 7 and above, are required to notify airfield operations 30 minutes prior to arrival due to headquarters coordination.

Pilots will submit all DD Form 1801 with a name in block 19, pilot in command, in accordance with the Los Alamitos AAF Airfield Procedures Guide, section 2-2, B, 3, and the General Planner, section 4-3, item 19. DD Form 1801 will include a contact number separate from any flight crew for any search and rescue related emergencies.
Glare has been observed from a solar farm site on the airfield during midday hours. Pilots are advised to report glare or glint to the control tower upon observation.
East ramp aircraft grounding points are noncompliant and unmarked.
The automated weather broadcast system is not available. Ceiling and visibility augmentation of weather observations will not be available after 2300Z on Mondays; automated observations will remain available.
