Restricted: the east side of Taxiway C is closed to jet aircraft and to aircraft with a wingspan above 133 feet. The gun berm is limited to A-10 aircraft or smaller and requires airfield management coordination. Taxiway J west of the gun berm is closed.
Customs, agriculture, and immigration services are limited to transient missions in direct support of the 45th Space Launch Delta and the 920th Rescue Wing only. All aircraft requiring customs support must contact Airfield Management Operations 72 hours prior, with a prior permission request required. Without advance notice, a delay of 2-3 hours can be expected. All aircraft requiring support must contact the point of contact with a 30-minute out call via direct air-to-ground communication or phone patch.
Service note: Taxiway A edge lighting between Taxiway B and Taxiway L is approximately 17 to 78 feet from the usable taxiway surface.
Restricted: official business requires 72 hours notice for prior permission; contact Airfield Management Operations. The prior permission is valid within plus or minus 30 minutes of the estimated time of arrival.
Restricted: the 301st Rescue Squadron cargo sling load area, located at the grassy area northwest of the Runway 11 approach end along the Banana River shoreline at N28 14 38, W80 36 57, is authorized for use by 920th Rescue Wing HH-60 aircraft. Coordination with airfield management is required prior to use. When conducting cargo sling load operations, overflight of personnel, vehicles, and parked aircraft is not authorized.

The first 1,000 feet of the runway is grooved concrete; the middle 7,000 feet is asphalt.
Caution: the first 240 feet of Runway 29 is not visible from the tower. During VFR weather conditions, exercise caution due to extensive local general aviation aircraft over Melbourne International, 7 nautical miles south.
Caution: Runway 11/29 has non-standard landing zone touchdown box markings.
Restricted: skid landings are conducted only by base-assigned rotary-wing aircraft equipped with skids, restricted to Taxiway B south of Taxiway C and Runway 11/29 west of Runway 03.
Restricted: aircraft larger than a C-130 are not authorized on the 800 Ramp, and 180-degree turns on Runway 03/21 are limited to the concrete ends.
