Non-radio night operations are not authorized. Non-parrot operations require prior permission at least one hour in advance. Non-radio operations require prior permission. Aircraft must provide an ETA and remain within 15 minutes of it. The control tower operates weekdays from 0730 to 1600; after hours and on holidays, contact the FAA.
FAA ramp access requires prior permission through ANC FIFO, Monday through Friday from 0600 to 1430, coordinated on frequency 135.85 or through OR AVN.

Taxiway V is restricted to aircraft weighing 12,500 pounds or less and is subject to jet blast west of taxiway E.
The runway 15 blast pad and the taxiway J run-up area on the south side have an irregular surface.
Noise sensitive areas lie to the south and east. Turbojet and turbofan departures from runways 07R, 07L, and 15 must employ the FAA close-in Noise Abatement Departure Profile or ICAO Procedure B NADP when safety permits. Contact the airport manager for further information.
